Pati met Kerry when Kerry lived in LA. They met at a party celebrating the top style makers in Hollywood and of course, she was on THE top of the list. Kerry liked her immediately and since then they’ve worked together on a few projects over the years. It is not her unparalleled talent that hooked Kerry, it was her gracious heart and infectious smile. Her warmth and humor come through daily on her Instagram posts where she and friends including her gorgeous mini-me daughter do exactly what you would expect, play with makeup. Tell us about life in LA. What’s your favorite thing about it? What have you been up to?
The hiking trails and hummingbirds. I’m a Chanel makeup ambassador, mama, and lover of healthy living and beautiful skin.
What’s your favorite condiment? Why?
Salsa Macha, I like it spicy.
What's your favorite BBQ side?
Coleslaw and cornbread.
What's the most overrated condiment/the most underrated, why?
Ketchup is totally overrated. unless it’s homemade.
Who is your fave insta cook follow and why?
I am hugely devoted to @nytcooking for the excellent recipes and @the.korean.vegan for her stories and inspiration
Describe your fridge door: Perfectly organized or a chaotic mess? Is there anything in there that you don't remember buying and never use?
Somewhere in between organization and chaos. I am not afraid to throw away things that have been sitting unused.
Fave takeout spot? What city?
These days it’s all about takeout. In LA we are big fans of @alchemyorganica - the most delicious vegan Mexican food.
What's your favorite life hack? Any new ones?
A few new favorites are a weighted blanket for the best sleep and an air fryer for changing the game in my kitchen.

A dance party with as many people as possible!

To me pure grit is about being grounded, earthy, and ready for action.
