Top 10 reasons to participate in VeganJanuary
I consider myself AVAP. As vegan as possible. And while I don’t eat any meat, seafood, or poultry, I am a work in progress. I cook mostly vegan at home, but I do love chocolate chip cookies no matter where I find them and of course NY pizza. Thank goodness tequila is plant-based although giving up alcohol this month is for another post.
It is Veganuary - otherwise known as Vegan January. Started in the UK in 2014 by husband and wife Matt Glover and Jane Land, Veganuary is a charity that encourages people across the world to experience vegan living for the month of January. I am recommitting myself to plant-based this month and have made 2 dozen vegan chocolate chip cookies that I put in the freezer to get me through.
If you are interested you can sign up at https://veganuary.com/en-us/ and receive daily emails with recipes and encouragement. It is an easy way to challenge yourself and learn more about plant-based eating.
