Queso
Plant-based queso is a must, as this creamy cheesy sauce goes on everything from nachos to chickpea burgers. If you are making PG Mac, use 1/2 the sauce to make this queso. All you have to do is add a few ingredients and presto - you are ready to party.
Ingredients.
1 ½ cups of the Pure Grit Mac sauce
1 ½ tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon miso paste
A dash of smoked paprika
The Hot Stuff to taste
Equipment & Pantry.
Steps.
Get out a blender or Nutribullet.
Add 1 ½ cups of the Pure Grit Mac sauce to the blender.
Then add 1 tablespoon chickpea miso paste (I like this chickpea miso, but any paste will do), a tablespoon of nutritional yeast, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, a dash of salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Blend.
Add The Hot Stuff slowly to taste.
Serve.
With anything and everything.
Finish.
We like to finish with diced tomatoes.
